Capturing the precious and short-lived moments in your baby’s first weeks with professional newborn portraits is an investment you will never regret.
I recommend booking newborn sessions while you are still pregnant.
You can book in a week after your due date, but we can move that date around if the little one decides to arrive early or late.
Preferred timeframe to photograph your newborn is between 6 to 14 days old. At that age they are more likely to be relaxed and sleepy during their session.
My favourite way of capturing your little one is the comfort of your own home. Outdoor locations are also an option.
Newborn sessions last from 1 to 2 hours, even longer if necessary. This allows plenty of time for settling, feeding and nappy changes.
I take a very minimalistic approach to newborn photography, without using too many props, except some blankets and wraps.
You only get one chance for a newborn sessions, as we all know how fast babies grow, this fleeting moment won’t be around for long and before you know it they won’t be able to fit so snug in your arms as they once did.
